According to David Baram, Managing Member of Baram, Tapper & Gans, LLC, “Our office, as one of the oldest continuously operating Bloomfield law firms, feels a special commitment to the Town of Bloomfield. Several of our attorneys, Joe Tapper, Jay Gans and myself, are Bloomfield residents who participate in a number of local civic endeavors. Understanding that people are often confused by the complex maze of laws and regulations which impact their personal and professional lives, “Bloomfield Law Day” affords an opportunity to receive competent legal guidance without obligation. It is our hope that this kind of community program will benefit our residents, and that other service oriented businesses will emulate our effort.”

“As one of the oldest Bloomfield-based law firms, we believe that it is important to offer this type of service to the community. Too often, people are not aware of their rights or have legal questions and don’t know where to turn. We want the residents and business people of Bloomfield to know that we are here to assist them with their legal matters.”

The firm’s practice, while general in nature, is built on individual strengths in focused areas of the law such as: Accident and Personal Injury, Business Law, Civil Litigation, Criminal Law, Divorce and Family Law, Elder Law, Employment Law, Wills and Probate, Trusts and Estate Planning; Immigration and Nationality Law, Real Estate, and Zoning.
